Choosing Your Future
"Choosing Your Future" was commissioned by Michigan Rehabilitation Services to dramatize the many ways MRS can help people with disabilities lead a normal life and become self-sufficient. The audience for this video is people with disabilities that may have given up hope of becoming independent. The purpose is to encourage this audience to seek help with MRS. Using documentary techniques, we searched out MRS success stories. We interviewed several MRS clients and learned about how MRS helped them come to terms with their disabilities and join the workforce as contributing members of society. The gripping stories they tell are illustrated with creative dramatizations of their ordeal as they worked their way toward independence.
