Get It Done!
"Get It Done!" was commissioned by Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS). The audience for this video is young people with disabilities who may have lost hope of participating as useful members of society. At the time of this production, MRS was under the umbrella of the Michigan Department of Career Development with a mandate to achieve full employment for all Michigan citizens. For this video we found a selection of positive young people with disabilities who have beat the odds and achieved significant accomplishments in either education or careers. By letting these people tell their stories of success our audience was inspired to seek out help to develop their own careers through employment or education. This video was produced with a great deal of graphics, music and humor to keep this difficult audience watching and make a difficult topic entertaining. "Get It Done!" won a Golden Eagle Award at the National Cine Festival in Washington DC.
