He has met bully problems with his own students head-on over the years learning to respect his students feelings and to understand the devastating effects of bully behavior. He is the owner and president of Leben Productions, a company that has produced over 300 videos in his 25+ year career including many broadcast documentaries that have aired on public television and The History Channel, and numerous motivational videos for educational and governmental organizations. Click here to review John Lebens complete resume. Jeff Gural Videographer and Video Editor Jeff Gural graduated with a BFA in Film and video from the University of Michigan. He joined Leben Productions soon after graduation, working closely with John Leben shooting and editing many award-winning Michigan-based documentaries for public television including The Lighthouse Keepers of Michigan, The Ludington Carferry, Our Town: The Making of a Ballet, and 39 30-minute episodes in the public television series, Painting on Location with Bob Fagan. His mastery of video editing and special effects using Final Cut Pro and After Effects give his productions a stylistic edge that keep the viewers eyes glued to the screen. Jeffs shooting and editing skills can be observed in both The Road Taken, the sample finished program as well as the Tiny Guy Rap video included with this proposal. Al Weener Musical Director Al Weener is an award winning Songwriter and has been producing and recording Original music in Western Michigan for over 30 years providing mentorship and recording expertise to area groups and musical talent through his recording studio, Mid-Coast Media. His legendary group The Bunz were satiric cultural icons for nearly a decade with many regional hits. His CD Ride With Me with ledgendary author and award winning poet and lyricist Tom Vandenberg is also heralded for its production musicianship and originality. He recently collaborated with Blues guitarist, Jimmy Dillon in the creation of Ascention of the Blues a stage production/ fundraiser performed by Michigan Blues artists in theaters all over Michigan. He is also the co-founder of the Blue Star Music Camp, a Non profit summer camp for blossoming rock and roll and blues performers in South Haven, Michigan. His musical talents can be heard in the driving percussion track and instrumentation of Tiny Guy Rap included with this proposal. MIDI programming and production by talented muscian/ engineer Tom Edgcomb of Saugatuck Hannah Leben Choreographer Hannah Leben is originally from the Chicago area starting her dancing career with the Salt Creek Ballet in Chicagos western suburbs. After her family moved to Western Michigan, Hannah joined the Grand Rapids Ballet studying Joffery technique under Chartel Arthur and Robert Esner. Classically trained, she has danced professionally in Ireland and around the U.S. and has currently embraced modern and jazz styles. Hannah is in her 4th season with Cerqua Rivera, a Chicago based Jazz Company. Hannah has choreographed for Musical Theater productions (including a theater production of Schoolhouse Rock), dance concerts, Odyssey of the Mind competitions and various classes throughout Chicago. She is currently on staff as a teacher with the Womens Athletic Club/Joffery Ballet School located in downtown Chicago. Hannahs choreography can be seen in the sample video, The Tiny Guy Rap included with this proposal. Hillary Leben Animator Hillary Leben studied Video and Animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago earning a BFA in Film Animation. Her animations have been screened at several film festivals including Women in the Director´s Chair, in Chicago, The Marin County Festival of Film and Video in California, and The Waterfront Film Festival in Saugatuck, Michigan. She has been working freelance as a video editor and animator for several years. She currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.
